Every year in April, Kennesaw State University holds a juried student art show with a local Atlanta artist to jury the show. Many different catagories asr awarded first second and third prizes as well as a best in show catagory and multiple honorable mentions. The show is arranges by the collage art group Visions, which is open to all Kennesaw State University students. The show opening is located in the Sturgis Gallery in the basement of the school library. The opening reception is from 7-9pm and usually holds an array of gourmet finger foods and a punch concoccion created by the art programs Roberta Griffin. A the opening reception, the winners of the show are announced and awarded their prizes, as well as the honorable mentions and several scholarships in different catagories from different patrons and a variable amount of money.
